Donald Trump ‘totally convinced’ he’ll win election amid legal woes, ‘already predicting a landslide’

Amid his ongoing legal woes, Donald Trump is riding high, pals say, after winning the Iowa caucus in a landslide and leading Gov. Nikki Haley by double digits in the New Hampshire primary.

Despite appearing in court at one of his many court battles this week — at the E. Jean Carroll civil defamation trial, after wrapping his civil fraud trial that threatens his businesses— a source tells Page Six of the legally embattled GOP candidate, “Trump’s on top of the world right now. Everyone [at his private club, Mar-a-Lago] is already treating him like he’s the president in Florida.”

The source added, “He’s totally convinced he’s on the path to winning the presidency again. He’s very upbeat. He’s elated… he’s already predicting a landslide in the entire country to aides and friends.”

Even Haley’s top surrogate in New Hampshire, GOP Gov. Chris Sununu, has started tempering expectations for her chances in his state’s primary, the Post has reported.

“We always wanted to have a strong second. That’s the only expectation we ever laid out there,” the governor told ABC News.

He’d previously said, “we’re gonna win.”

We’ve previously reported that former first lady, Melania Trump, is expected to make more public appearances supporting Trump’s campaign.

She’d made some rare appearances lately — at the funeral of Rosalynn Carter, as well as at a naturalization ceremony for new US citizens — but was then out of the public eye again when her mother, Amalija Knavs, became ill and passed away.

Said an insider: “Once her period of mourning is over, you can expect her to appear with [Trump] at key moments… somewhere important. She wants to make meaningful appearances, not make routine campaign stops which his sons [Eric and Don Jr.] do.”

The insider added that Trump’s youngest daughter, “Tiffany [Trump] will also start to pop up at some stops.”
