Elijah Blue Allman’s estranged wife, Marieangela King, blasts Cher for throwing son ‘into a lockdown facility’ before filing for conservatorship

Elijah Blue Allman’s estranged wife is going after Cher for throwing her son “into a lockdown facility” in Mexico just a couple of months before filing for a conservatorship.

Marieangela King tells Page Six exclusively that the “Believe” singer and her family “historically excluded” her from making decisions regarding Allman’s care, including when Cher allegedly “kidnapped” her son to get him into rehab and placed him in a “locked cage” instead of a “legitimate, ethically operated” facility.

“I have always been a champion for the sober community and for Elijah’s sobriety. … What I am not ok with are establishments that exclude me (his wife) from being part of Elijah’s treatment and hopeful recovery,” King says in her statement.

“I am not ok with pop-up, makeshift, unethical scam rehabs which take full advantage of families in desperate situations and seek to fraudulently exploit insurance companies for services not rendered.”

King, 36, also tells us she was “not OK” with Allman, 47, “being coerced” in October into “participating in an alternative medicine regimen” that resulted in his being forced to sleep behind “a locked cage with six other individuals.”

The musician, who is known as Queeny King, also denies that she ever “enabled” Allman’s substance abuse and maintained that she has never “suffered from any form of substance abuse, mental health or addiction issues.”

A rep for King adds that the “She Wants to Kill Me” singer hoped to settle Allman’s substance abuse issues privately before Cher, 77, filed to be sole conservator.

“And despite a clear pattern of being habitually bulldozed over and repeatedly undermined, a pattern that has existed throughout her 10 year marriage, Ms. King wholly rejects any inference that she is incapable of caring for her husband or making sound medical and/or financial decisions on his behalf,” the rep adds.

King, who has been married to Allman for 10 years, feels the conservatorship is “deeply disturbing” and believed his family would appreciate her longtime silence regarding his private matters.

King’s rep also shut down any insinuation that she was unable to care for Allman. Ron Davis

“Instead, her silence was wrongly perceived as weakness,” the rep says.

Reps for Cher didn’t immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.

In Cher’s request to become her son’s conservator, she claims he cannot properly care for himself or his financial matters because of his drug abuse.

The documents, obtained by Page Six, further detailed Cher’s concern “any funds distributed to Elijah will immediately be spent on drugs, leaving Elijah with no assets to provide for himself, and putting Elijah’s life at risk.”

Cher noted in the filing that Allman, whose father is the late musician Gregg Allman, makes $120,000 a year and “is entitled to regular distributions from a trust established by his father for his benefit.”

Cher also marked that Elijah has an estimated $0 value in personal property.
