Rihanna’s new Savage x Fenty campaign is the best thing about Valentine’s Day

Rihanna is getting ready for Valentine’s Day, and whoever her date is is one lucky fella.

The 32-year-old has somehow changed our minds about V-Day cliches of all things red and hearts by launching her latest range for the holiday for Savage x Fenty.

In stunning imagery shot by Dennis Leupold, Rihanna rocked a see-through red mesh slip over matching lingerie – paired with latex gloves and stockings and plenty of diamonds, naturally.

A campaign video saw Riri rocking her own range from every angle in a bedroom, and captioned it: ‘You’re not my only Valentine…’

Unsurprisingly, friends and fans were shook by the campaign, with one person commenting: ‘Cupid could nevah.’

Another person had a crisis of identity, commenting: ‘Am I gay??? idk’, while illustrator Hayden Williams wrote: ‘Listen…Rih really is her own best advertiser. Whew.’

Speaking about the new Savage V-Day range, the Work singer said: ‘Do that thing that you love the most. Make it all about you and your boo will benefit.

‘If it makes you feel good and makes you feel sexy, then just do it.’

Wise words.

Savage x Fenty features items from £9.50 to £59 and is size inclusive, featuring bras from 32A to 42DD and other items from XS to 3X.

It’s estimated that Savage x Fenty has an annual revenue of $150 million (£109m), with the size inclusive brand denting the share of the market previously dominated by Victoria’s Secret.

The line has even taken over from the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show with its own star-studded showcase, with people like Lizzo, Demi Moore and Bella Hadid modelling the brand.

Throw in Rihanna’s Fenty make-up line and her music career, and the star is believed to be worth $600 million (£438m).

As for Valentine’s Day, it’s been rumoured that Riri could be spending it with A$AP Rocky.

The rapper fuelled the rumours that he is dating Rihanna as he jetted to Barbados over Christmas, where the popstar was spending time with friends and family.

Rihanna and A$AP, real name Rakim Mayers, have worked together over the years on campaigns, with A$AP most recently modelling for Fenty Skin.

A source told People: ‘They’ve been inseparable the past few weeks. It’s a new relationship, but they both seem very into it.’

Well, after these latest campaign pics, we don’t blame A$AP at all.
