During the interview, Leigh-Anne opened up about the struggling times she had in the girlband – despite the huge success they achieved.

‘You talk about the times when you weren’t happy and you were turning it on, it just made me really sad,’ said the host

‘I think when you think of Little Mix, you think of those times’, Leigh-Anne said.

‘You think of colour and rainbows and happiness, and yes a lot of it was, because I was with my sisters and we had the time of our lives, and I think the reason why I kind of got on with it was I had them to just laugh with,’ the singer explained.

‘I felt like I really needed that, that sisterhood meant everything to me. I think what was hard as well was not really understanding what was going on.’

‘If you think that the reason why I felt like this was because of the colour of my skin, I couldn’t even say those words because it didn’t really make sense to me,’ she added.

Leigh-Anne went on to say that she ‘struggled’ finding her identity.
