Lindsie Chrisley: It would have been ‘insincere’ to post Nic Kerdiles tribute amid feud with sister Savannah

Lindsie Chrisley revealed she didn’t post a tribute for Nic Kerdiles’ death due to ongoing family drama with her half-sister, Savannah Chrisley.

“Based off of the events that have taken place with myself and my sister … it would feel insincere,” Lindsie said on her “Coffee Convos”podcast Wednesday.

“And I don’t think that we should be living for what we’re posting on social media. We should be living for what we’re doing and our lives personally outside of what the public knows.”

After receiving “horrific” comments on Instagram, Lindsie explained that she was trying to be respectful of Kerdiles’ family after his sister spoke out about her distaste for him being remembered because of his relationship with Savannah.

“I had just made a decision that I wasn’t going to say anything publicly at all about it because I felt like it was based off of what the sister said because … she didn’t want any association to be tied back to the family, and they are grieving people,” Lindsie added.

Despite her rift with Savannah, Lindsie, 34, said her half-sister didn’t intend to be linked to Kerdiles’ passing in the media.

“She is also grieving, whether they were together now or whether they weren’t,” she explained.

The mom of one also extended her “deepest condolences” to the former NHL player’s family following his fatal motorcycle crash.

She said she made the decision to remain silent on social media due to the ongoing beef with her half-sister.

According to the outlet, the realtor, 29, ran through a stop sign on his motorcycle before slamming into the driver’s side of a BMW. He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Following the news of his death, Savannah, 26, paid tribute to her ex-fiancé on her Instagram Story with a Boomerang of her and Kerdiles sharing a kiss. “I’m still hoping you respond to my text,” she wrote.

“It would feel insincere,” Lindsie said on her “Coffee Convos” podcast Wednesday.

She then posted another sweet snap of the pair holding hands on the beach.

“Heaven gained the most beautiful angel today,” she wrote. “I miss you and I love you…I’ll forever save our messages of ‘I love you’….”

Savannah and the former professional athlete began dating in the fall of 2017 and got engaged about a year later in December 2018.

After postponing their wedding because “things moved way too fast,” the duo later decided to call it quits in September 2020.

Lindsie also wanted to be respectful of Kerdiles’ family, who didn’t want him to be known only as Savannah’s ex.

As for the Chrisley family drama, Lindsie explained during a recent episode of her podcast that she blocked Savannah and half-brother Chase Chrisley on Instagram after the siblings got upset about something “rude” she posted.

Meanwhile, Savannah opened up about the situation on “The Viall Files” podcast earlier this month, explaining that there was more to her fallout with Lindsie than their social media feud.

She claimed that Lindsie and older half-brother Kyle Chrisley didn’t always have the best relationship with her mom, Julie Chrisley.

The “Unlocked” podcast host further alleged that her half-sister “worked with the government” during her parents’ trial for tax evasion and fraud.

“I just don’t think I could ever get to a place of trusting [Lindsie] with that just because, now, I’m left without two parents, and she did help to contribute to it,” Savannah claimed.

Lindsie — whose biological mom is Todd Chrisley’s first wife, Teresa Terry — has since responded to the allegations on her podcast, accusing her younger half-sister of lacking “empathy” and “awareness.”

“[Julie] could have hung the moon, but she still wasn’t my mother,” Lindsie said.

“If [Savannah] feels the need to blame me to move forward with her life and responsibilities, that’s OK,” she added.
