The Reporter Was Trying To Get A Spoiler Of Harrison Ford’s Fate In Blade Runner 2049, But Ryan Gosling Caught On

At the time of the interview, Ryan Gosling was promoting Blade Runner 2049, released back in 2017. As expected, the film had great critical scores, with Rotten Tomatoes rating the film with an 88% approval rating. The film also got lots of love at the box office, generating $267 million.

However, things could’ve gone sideways during the promotion. Ryan Gosling was approached during a red carpet event, and was basically asked to spoil the fate of Harrison Ford’s character. However, the reporter had a neat way of phrasing it.

He asks, “In the last movie that Harrison Ford did, that was 30 years after his last movie, he died.” Gosling looks shocked by the question and calmly says, “Okay, this interview took a turn, really dark.”

Gosling continues, “What are you… You look guilty. Yeah, this is entering territory that I can’t go with you. I can’t go here with you.” Gosling’s publicist then steps in and cuts the awkward moment short. Though in truth, Gosling could not have handled the situation any better.
