Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes can’t believe his autographed rookie card sold for record $4.3 million

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes dethroned Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady — at least in the sports card market.

PWCC Marketplace announced Wednesday that a Mahomes 2017 Panini National Treasures 1-of-1, NFL shield, autographed card sold for $4.3 million, the most ever for a football card.

Mahomes himself couldn’t even believe the card sold for that amount, tweeting, “My goodness.”
