He’s feeling victorious.
Sean “Diddy” Combs posted the music video to his 1997 song “Victory” on his Instagram Friday after Homeland Security raided his two homes amid a sex trafficking investigation.
“Bad Boy For Life ✊🏿,” he captioned the post.
In the song, Combs rapped, “Yeah, right, no matter what, we air tight / So when you hear something, make sure you hear it right / Don’t make a ass outta yourself, by assuming / Our music keeps you moving, what are you proving?”
The billionaire hip-hop mogul, 54, left the comments on under the post, which is something he hasn’t done since he faced accusations of rape and physical abuse by his ex Cassie last November. (Combs denied the allegations but settled the suit with the “Me & U” singer, 37, one day later.)
Last Monday, Combs’ Los Angeles and Miami homes were raided by Homeland Security due to a possible connection with an ongoing sex trafficking investigation.
In a video obtained by Fox 11, several people were taken out of the Bad Boy Records founder’s homes in handcuffs, including his sons Justin, 30, and Christian, 26.
Justin’s mom, Misa Hylton, shared video footage from the “militarized” raids on social media earlier this week.
The fashion designer, 51, questioned why her son needed to have “several laser beams from firearms pointed at his chest” and why Christian needed “a gun pointed at the back of his head while he was handcuffed.”
“How many times have we seen young UNARMED BLACK MEN not make it out of these types of situations alive??” she wrote on Instagram.
In a statement to Page Six, Combs’ attorney, Aaron Dyer, called the raids a “witch hunt.”
“Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences. There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated,” Dyer told us.
“Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities. Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way.”
The raids came after Combs was sued by his former producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones in a $30 million lawsuit, claiming that the Sean John founder repeatedly sexually assaulted him while he was working on his latest album from September 2022 to November 2023.
The “Last Night” rapper is also facing several more lawsuits, accusing him of several crimes, including gang rape.
Combs has denied all wrongdoing.
Additionally, his son Christian was accused of sexually assaulting a woman back in 2022 on a yacht his father chartered, according to a new lawsuit filed Thursday.
Combs’ attorney, Dyer, also reps the “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop” emcee and told Page Six that the lawsuit is “just another lewd and meritless claim from [lawyer] Tyrone Blackburn — just like what he filed in the Rodney Jones lawsuit, which he still has not served.”
