Scott Disick has been noticeably absent from the spotlight tin recent months as his ex-partner Kourtney Kardashian prepares to welcome a baby with her new husband Travis Barker.
Khloe Kardashian recently opened up about how Scott is doing seeing Kourtney start a family with someone else, and he’s apparently having difficulty coping. In the newest episode of The Kardashians, Khloe paid a visit to Scott to check in on him, but it left her concerned.
Scott’s Physical And Mental Health Is Bad After A Car Accident
“I think Scott needs a little pep talk because this is probably the unhealthiest I’ve seen him. He’s barely mobile, and it’s all from his back, so that wouldn’t make anyone feel good,” the Good American founder admitted to the cameras.
Scott sustained a back injury during an August 2022 car crash in which the reality star Lamborghini flipped over. Speaking to Khloe, Scott said the injury has only gotten “worse over time.”
“I’ve gained a lot of weight here because of my back,” he said, implying the extra pounds were putting added stress on his back. Scott confessed he hasn’t gone to a physical therapist, though he agrees to consult a doctor at Khloe’s insistence.
Scott follows through with his promise later in the episode, when cameras follow him to an appointment with Dr. Pat to discuss the result of an MRI he previously did. The doctor admits that Scott is “on that cusp of needing surgery,” and suggests some targeted exercises to help with the injury.
When he later checks in with Khloe, she asks him what he needs to help his back. “Sex, but now I can’t move,” Scott jokingly responds, to which Khloe smiles.
Interestingly, the episode didn’t show Kourtney’ reaction Khloe’s recent concerns over Scott’s physical and mental health. Scott and Kourtney broke up in 2015 after a decade together and three children. She went on to marry Travis Barker last year and they’re now expecting a baby together.
Scott Is Still Struggling Over Seeing Kourtney Move On With Travis
Since the beginning of Travis and Kourtney’s romance, reports have suggested Scott has struggled seeing her move on. In June, a source told Entertainment Tonight that Scott was struggling with being happy for his ex. “[He’s] trying his best to stay positive and be happy for Kourtney, but he feels bad about the situation too,” they shared.
“He always knew Kourtney would get pregnant and move forward with her life with Travis, but he just didn’t know it would feel like this when it finally did,” the insider continued. “His friends can tell he is hurt. Scott isn’t dating anyone seriously.”
An insider echoed a similar sentiment to the publication after Kourtney publicly announced her pregnancy news. “Scott is being as supportive as possible while also trying to take care of himself,” the insider said. “It stings a little and he will always have love for Kourtney, but at the same time, he is also happy and excited for her. He wants to continue to move on and focus on his own personal life.”
Kourtney is reportedly due to give birth to a baby boy any day now.
