Kelly Osbourne says she’s ‘proud to be a nepo baby’: My parents ‘are iconic’

Kelly Osbourne is beaming with pride.

The daughter of Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne has opened up about her status as a “nepo baby — a term that refers to celeb children who’ve gotten a leg-up in the entertainment industry because of their famous parents.

In an interview with Rolling Stone published Thursday, the former “Fashion Police” host said both of her parents are “iconic.”

“I’m a f–king nepo baby and I’m proud to be a nepo baby. I’m proud of my parents’ achievements,” she told the publication.

“I think that what they have done is incredible, history-making. I go so far as to say both of them are iconic. But it doesn’t mean that I should automatically be given all of these opportunities.”

“My parents have always taught me that you have to prove yourself,” Kelly, 39, added.

While rocker Ozzy was already famous at the time, the rest of his family shot to global stardom in 2002 after starring in their hit MTV reality show, “The Osbournes.”

Kelly, for her part, has since tried her hand at several career paths, including music, fashion, and acting.

Elsewhere in the interview, Kelly admitted that she was a “self-righteous little c–t” for previously asking who would clean the toilets if Latinos were kicked out of the country.

The mom of one opened up about the 2015 comment, which has since been turned into a meme, saying her comments “came out so wrong” and she feels as though this country was “built on immigrants.”

Speaking out about the now-viral remark, Kelly described herself as a “self-righteous little c—t” in the video.

“I hate it. I hate it so much because I look at it and I’m like, ‘You think you know everything and you know nothing. Nobody wants to hear [your] opinion on this,’” she added.

“I feel very strongly that Latin American culture is the backbone of America,” she said. “I believe that Latin Americans are the hardest-working people you will ever meet.”

During a 2015 episode of “The View,” Kelly found herself in hot water over her comments about Latinos while discussing former President Donald Trump’s stance on immigration.

“If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilets, Donald Trump?” she said at the time.

The camera then panned to Kelly’s face as one of her then-co-hosts Rosie Perez said, “Oh that’s not…”

She then tried to correct herself, adding, “In the sense that … You know what I mean? I didn’t mean it like that. Come on!”

After the blunder, Kelly apologized for her “poor choice of words,” but slammed claims that she was “racist.”
