Shop Oprah’s ‘favorite’ Philosophy moisturizer for less during October Prime Day

With her famed “Favorite Things” roundup known to drop in late fall, Oprah’s likely making her list and checking it twice.

And in the meantime, Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days is giving fans something else to get excited about: markdowns on many of her previous “favorites,” including the new and improved version of her go-to moisturizer.

While discounts last, save nearly 25% on an upgraded iteration of Winfrey’s skincare savior: Philosophy Hope in a Jar Smooth-Glow Multi-Tasking Moisturizer ($34, originally $45).

The original version of the all-in-one hydrating formula landed on Winfrey’s “Ultimate Favorite Things” list in 2010, when she wrote that she’d been using it for a decade.

“It’s hands down the best moisturizer I’ve ever used,” she raved of the cream, made with hydrating hyaluronic acid and resurfacing glycolic acid in addition to the brand’s exclusive “radiance complex.”

It wouldn’t be the last time Winfrey sang the product’s praises; it’s since popped up in Mother’s Day gift guides and winter skincare stories on her website.

“Every time I massage in a dab of this moisturizer, I feel like I’m giving my face a drink of water,” Winfrey wrote. “It exfoliates, it hydrates, it keeps hope alive.”

During the former talk show host’s farewell season, Philosophy even sold the moisturizer in limited-edition boxes featuring Winfrey’s childhood photo.

It’s far from the only beauty staple that’s available at a discount during the Prime Day-like event, which runs through Oct. 11, 2023; another Winfrey favorite, Sunday Riley, is also marked down for a limited time.

And while Oprah may be gifting royalty, plenty of items loved by the actual royal family are also on sale at Amazon right now — so don’t miss out!
