Scotland and Spain qualify for Euro 2024 as Erling Haaland and Norway are eliminated

Scotland qualified for Euro 2024 – their second European Championship appearance in a row – as Spain beat Norway in Oslo on Sunday night.

Gavi’s strike in the 49th minute was enough for La Roja to down Erling Haaland and co, ensuring La Roja and the Tartan Army cannot be caught in the top two places in Group A.

Spain now sit top of the group ahead of Scotland on goal difference. Both sides have two games left to play but Norway have now competed in seven qualifiers and will partake in only one in the November international break.
