Fans accuse Kris Jenner of using a filter while promoting daughter Kim Kardashian’s Skkn makeup line

Kris Jenner was slammed by fans for seemingly using a heavy filter while promoting daughter Kim Kardashian’s new Skkn by Kim makeup line.

Ahead of the highly anticipated release on Friday, the 68-year-old momager posted a video to Instagram alongside her makeup artist, Nikki, while getting ready for a show during Paris Fashion Week.

In the video, Nikki broke down exactly which products she used to achieve Jenner’s smokey eye look, including the Classic Mattes Eyeshadow Palette ($50), Lip Liner ($22) and Soft Matte Lip Color ($32).

However, many fans noticed that the “Kardashians” star’s makeup looked impossibly flawless and called her out for not giving an accurate look at the products.

“More filters than Marlboro Lights,” one fan commented, as another asked, “What about the filter? 😂😂😂.”

“Not the make up with a filter on, kris 😭,” a third added, to which a fourth added, “And of course a heavy duty filter😂.”

“Can we see it without a filter?” one more user asked.

This isn’t the first time that Jenner and her makeup artists have faced backlash online for posting heavily filtered content.

In August, fans slammed Jenner and her glam squad for only posting photos in which the reality TV star seemed to have no wrinkles or pores.

“As a professional makeup artist, I find it disheartening that you have to put a filter on her,” an alleged makeup expert wrote, adding, “If this is her people telling you that you can’t post it unless it’s filtered, shame on them.”

“At what point will this family stop putting these insane expectations on themselves and their fans? Let’s do better! #nofilterneeded.”

One photo in particular appeared so heavily edited that followers thought it was “AI” due to Jenner’s extremely glossy eyes.

Despite Jenner’s potential marketing fail, Kardashian apparently didn’t need any help selling her new line, revealing on social media that several of the products sold out just hours after going live.

The launch came two years after the Skims founder, 43, shut down her KKW Beauty brand in an effort to morph all of her brands into one “so that it was easier for the consumer.”

Kardashian told People that she wanted to have all of her brands under the same name. kimkardashian/Instagram

“We had KKW Beauty, KKW Fragrance, and then would have done KKW Skin,” she explained to People in an interview published Friday.

“The customer would have to go to three different sites in order to purchase products with different shipping costs, different manufacturers, and we’d have three different social media accounts,” she explained.

Despite her makeup no longer being called KKW beauty, the media mogul says the new products are very reminiscent to her old stuff — only better.

“This is the evolution of who I am and the original brand — and it was important that the quality of the product is better, the packaging is better, and I am listening to what my consumers want,” she told the outlet.
