The Return of Ye.
Kanye West was photographed by Page Six cameras looking all smiles as he celebrated the screening of Candace Owen’s new documentary, “The Greatest Lie Ever Sold: George Floyd and the Rise of BLM,” Wednesday night.
The screening — which took place in Nashville — brought together a selected few, including Jason and Brittany Aldean, who were recently slammed for making transphobic comments, and Kid Rock.
The rapper-turned-designer, 45, sported an all-black attire which included a dress jacket, baggy pants and a T-shirt. He completed the look with his now-iconic black baseball hat that reads “2024.”
In one of our photos, Ye chatted with Kid Rock, who wore a brown leather jacket, maroon pants and a black T-shirt. The singer also rocked a brown hat and sunglasses while puffing on a cigar.
The “Heartless” rapper also walked the red carpet, where he posed alongside Owens and even gave her a hug.
The political commentator matched Ye as she wore a black gown with strappy heels.
Shockingly, West shared the spotlight with Ray J, one of Kim Kardashian’s former boyfriends.
Although the two kept their distance, they managed to keep it cordial for Owens. Fans of “The Kardashians” will remember that West had a talk with Ray J after he threatened to release more sex tapes he had allegedly made with the rapper’s ex-wife.
West’s outing comes just days after he was locked out of his Instagram and Twitter accounts for posting anti-Semitic comments.
On Friday night, he had shared a since-deleted screenshot of a text exchange with Sean Love Combs, aka Diddy, in which he suggested the rapper was being controlled by Jewish people.
Diddy had asked him to “stop playing these internet games” amid his latest series of IG rants, to which he responded, “This ain’t a game. Ima use you as an example to show the Jewish people that told you to call me that no one can threaten or influence me.”
Locked out of his account, he returned to Twitter where he proceeded to attack Mark Zuckerberg for the loss of his Instagram.
He followed it up with another now-deleted tweet that read, “I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.”
He was also locked out of that account.
Owens, who has always been a fierce defender of West, spoke out after he lost his accounts.
She said in part during Monday’s episode of the Candance Owens Podcast, “If you’re an honest person, you don’t think these tweets are anti-Semitic. You don’t think he wrote this because he hates or wants to genocide Jewish people. This does not represent the beginning of the Holocaust.”
