Prince Harry, Meghan Markle send ‘get well messages’ to Kate Middleton and King Charles amid health issues: report

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly sent “get well messages” to Kate Middleton and King Charles III amid their respective health scares.

A source close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex told The Mirror that “the King and the Princess of Wales have received support from Prince Harry and Meghan regarding their health.”

The insider also noted that the couple have “contacted both parties in different ways to pass on their concern and best wishes.”

The report comes a few days after Middleton, 42, underwent an abdominal operation that Kensington Palace described as a “planned” procedure.

“The surgery was successful and it is expected that she will remain in hospital for ten to fourteen days, before returning home to continue her recovery,” read a statement posted to the couple’s Instagram earlier this week.

Meanwhile, her father-in-law, King Charles III, 75, is expected to go under the knife next week to treat an enlarged prostate.

Sources told the Telegraph that Harry initially found out about his father’s medical condition through the media.

Insiders at Buckingham Palace claimed they attempted to alert all senior members of the royal family, including Harry, who stepped down from his role in 2020 and relocated to Montecito, Calif. with Markle.

However, the messages reached the “Spare” author after the public announcement.

A statement issued by the palace noted that the monarch’s condition is “benign.”

“He will attend hospital next week for a corrective procedure,” the spokesperson added.

As for the Princess of Wales, she is “unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter” as she recovers from her procedure, per the palace.

The mother of three, who shares Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, with husband Prince William, is hoping to “maintain as much normality for her children as possible.”

“The Princess of Wales wishes to apologise to all those concerned for the fact that she has to postpone her upcoming engagements,” the statement concluded.

“She looks forward to reinstating as many as possible, as soon as possible.”

The multiple health crises, and Harry and Meghan’s alleged olive branch, comes a few months after Piers Morgan claimed royal expert Omid Scobie named Charles and Middleton as the “racist royals” who expressed concern over Prince Archie’s skin color.

Along with Archie, 4, Harry and Meghan also share two year old daughter Lilibet.
