Peter Andre has opened up on becoming a father for the fifth time, after his wife Emily gave birth to their daughter last week.
The Mysterious Girl singer, 51, took to Instagram last Wednesday to share the news that he and his wife, 34, had welcomed their third child together.
The baby girl is Peter’s fifth child, as he and Emily already have daughter Amelia, 10, and seven-year-old son Theo and he also shares Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, with ex-wife Katie Price.
Speaking to Woman, Peter spoke about parenthood with Emily, praising the NHS doctor for making him act like a teenager again.
He said: ‘Technically, I’ve changed five sets of nappies over my life. That’s a lot of nappy changes!

‘Emily has to do all the hard work. She loves breastfeeding, so even though I’m a hands-on dad there’s not really much that I can do.
‘She’s such a nice person – I think that she’s brought [that] out in me, brought me back to how I was when I was 16/17.’
He explained: ‘In the sense that I partied, I had all that crazy life, but she’s brought me back to a real young me again, which is just chilled.
‘And that’s because she’s so kind. She’s just brought me back to what I was like in the early days – and I love that.’
He also revealed whether he is open to having any more children, acknowledging that he had said he didn’t want any more before Emily fell pregnant with his fifth.
When asked if any more babies were on the cards, Peter declared: ‘No! Please don’t say that.
But he added: ‘But I said I wouldn’t have a fifth. Then again, you never know. But it is up to Emily, isn’t it, not me. But no, I don’t think so.’
Despite welcoming their daughter a week ago, Peter revealed this week that he and Emily have still not settled on a name for her.

He added that the tot is doing ‘amazingly well’ and his older children are smitten with their new sibling.
Writing in his column for new! magazine, Peter said: ‘It’s the moment we’ve been waiting for – our newest arrival is here! We welcomed our beautiful baby girl on Tuesday 2 April.
‘We feel so overwhelmed right now, but mum and daughter are doing amazingly well. She weighed 7lb 3oz and is thankfully very healthy.’
He added: ‘She still doesn’t have a name, but she’s as cute as a button. We are all absolutely in love!
‘Our new baby has been spoiled with cuddles from Junior, Princess, Amelia and Theo, who are all in love with their new little sister. As parents, we couldn’t be happier.
‘My children are by far my proudest achievements – they are my whole life and this baby is a gift.’
Peter announced the birth of their daughter on Wednesday on Instagram, the day after Emily gave birth, and asked fans for help with picking a name.
He uploaded the first snaps of their newborn daughter ‘just minutes old’ which showed Emily breastfeeding the newborn and one of him wearing a scrub hat holding the tot.

Princess also offered her support by writing on her Story: ‘My gorgeous little sister’ as she celebrated her newest sibling
Captioning the sweet shots, he wrote: ‘Just minutes old……We feel so overwhelmed right now. So happy to welcome our beautiful girl to the family.
‘Mum and daughter are doing amazing. Born Tuesday 2nd April 2024, 7lb 3oz and thankfully very healthy.

‘I will never forget this moment. Thank you for being truly amazing. Love you all so much. Keep cuddling mum for me please and tell her I love her and we will come out soon’.
