Michael Bublé sends ‘healing wishes’ to cancer-stricken King Charles III at dinner with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Michael Bublé sent well-wishes to King Charles III amid his cancer battle at a dinner hosted by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in Canada for the upcoming Invictus Games.

The crooner, who was invited to perform at the One Year to Go Dinner at Vancouver Convention Center Friday, took the stage to sing Frank Sinatra’s classic “My Way.”

However, according to multiple reports, Bublé changed the lyrics, and instead sang to Harry, “Nothing tames, Invictus Games, you play them your way/ One man, life-changing plan, he does all he can, he’s a visionary/ Our healing wishes for your dad/ You’ve earned each day, the right to say, I did it my way.”

The Duke, 39, and Duchess, 42, of Sussex were photographed at the event dressed in glamorous outfits.

Markle wore an olive green, off-the-shoulder dress with her hair slicked back into a low bun, while Harry opted for a sleek, black suit.

Earlier in the week, the couple had been checking out the Winter Training Camp, which included sports like alpine skiing, snowboarding and wheelchair curling, ahead of the 2025 Invictus Games.

This was one of the Sussex’s first public appearances together since Charles’ diagnosis was revealed.

Buckingham Palace announced this month that doctors discovered during the Monarch’s recent surgery for benign prostate enlargement that he has cancer.

“His Majesty has today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public-facing duties,” the statement also read at the time.

“Throughout this period, His Majesty will continue to undertake State business and official paperwork as usual.”

Harry shared in an interview with “Good Morning America” this week that he learned of his father’s health issues by speaking to the senior royal directly.

The prince said he then “jumped on a plane” and went to see Charles, 75, “as soon as [he] could.”

Harry also reaffirmed to “GMA” that he loves his family — despite their tumultuous past, adding, “The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go and see him and spend any time with him, I’m grateful for that.”

When asked if he thought Charles’ illness could help bring the royal family back together, the “Spare” author responded, “Yeah, I’m sure. … I think any illness, any sickness brings families together.”

According to a royal expert, the feeling is mutual and Charles also wants to make amends with his youngest son.

“[Charles] desperately wants to reconcile with Harry,” Katie Nicholl told “Entertainment Tonight” earlier this week, noting that the duke’s visit was “absolutely fundamental and important and healing the rift.”

The “New Royals” author added at the time, “I know, for Charles, the door has always been left open regardless of some of the things Harry has written.”

While Charles has not directly addressed the current status of his relationship with Harry, he recently thanked his supporters for their words of encouragement during this difficult time.

He said in a statement via the Buckingham Palace, “I would like to express my most heartfelt thanks for the many messages of support and good wishes I have received in recent days.

“As all those who have been affected by cancer will know, such kind thoughts are the greatest comfort and encouragement.”
