Tiffany Haddish fans ‘pissed’ she bailed on comedy show following second DUI charge

Tiffany Haddish was a last-minute no-show at a recent comedy gig, and Page Six is told audience members were “pissed.”

The embattled comedian — who was formally charged on Wednesday following her November DUI arrest — was supposed to perform later that night at The Ice House in Pasadena, Calif., alongside several other stand-up comics.

But we’re told that after almost two hours of sets, the host of the evening came out and announced that Haddish, 44, “would not be performing tonight.”

A show attendee explains, “He said she ‘couldn’t make it.’ This was after five acts had already performed, and only two comedians were left.”

Our eyewitness says they “could feel the air leave the room when everyone gasped with anger and disappointment.”

“Everyone was looking at each other, like, ‘Is this part of a bit, or is he serious?!’” our source recalls.

Reps for Haddish did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The “Girls Trip” star was charged with one misdemeanor count of driving under the influence of alcohol and one misdemeanor count of driving with .08 percent blood alcohol content (BAC) after falling asleep at the wheel following a Thanksgiving comedy show.

A watch commander for the Beverly Hills Police Department told us at the time that her car was “stopped in lanes of traffic” and not pulled over to the side, meaning any vehicles that were driving in the area at that time had to go around her.

The officer noted, however, that there were “no traffic collisions.”

In a video of the arrest, Haddish appeared cooperative as police placed her in handcuffs and escorted her to the back of their squad car.

She is due back in court on Dec. 22 for her arraignment and plea.

This is the second time in less than two years the funnywoman has been arrested for DUI after dozing off on the road; she was booked in Georgia in January 2022.

Police told Page Six at the time that Haddish’s vehicle was pulled into the yard of a local residence, with officials reportedly suspecting that she was under the influence of marijuana.

Loves ones are worried about the “Haunted Mansion” actress, who endured great hardships before she got her big break in Hollywood.

“As soon as I heard it, I said, ‘Goddamn, I’m glad she’s OK,’” a close friend recently told The Post.

“But it seems weird to me. You would think that someone would have a driver in that situation. This is tough because there’s nothing anybody’s gonna say to take away that this is her second offense.”

The pal added, “The way people look at drinking and driving — hopefully, there’s a lesson to be learned. If people want to be critical, I say, ‘F–k that. You don’t know what a person is going through. You don’t know what’s troubling a person.’”

Another insider shared, “Tiffany likes to drink and have a good time, but her friends are noticing that she is drinking way more around the holidays. We think that she may be lonely and hiding behind a fake smile.”

The day after her second arrest, Haddish got back on stage and joked about the incident, adding with more seriousness in an interview a few days later, “I’m going to get some help so I can learn balance and boundaries. This will never happen again.”

Though she recently attended Paris Hilton’s holiday party, a spy assured Page Six that Haddish was “very sober” and “not drinking at all.”
