Vanilla Ice is reminiscing on Madonna’s Nineteen Nineties proposal for the primary time.
“Things had been going so loopy and quick, man,” the rapper recalled of their whirlwind relationship on the “Just Jenny With Jenny Hutt” podcast Tuesday.
“I used to be identical to, ‘What?! I assumed the man was speculated to [get down on one knee],’” he added. “‘What do you imply? Wait a minute. This is just too quick. I’m simply getting began right here, and I’m approach too younger for this!’”
The 55-year-old, whose actual identify is Robert Matthew Van Winkle, famous, “The extra I give it some thought, the extra loopy it was.”

The “Vanilla Ice Project” host, who referred to as his ex a “legend” later within the interview, moved on with Laura Giaritta. The duo had been married from 1997 to 2016 and share daughters Dusti, 25, and KeeLee, 23.
Vanilla Ice went on to welcome daughter Priscilla, 3, with one other girl in 2018.
As for Madonna, the Grammy winner has been married twice. She wed actor Sean Penn in 1985 and director Guy Ritchie in 2000.
The “Like a Virgin” singer, who was final romantically linked to mannequin Andrew Darnell, is the mom of six youngsters.
Madonna shares daughter Lourdes, 26, and son Rocco, 22, with Carlos Leon and Ritchie, respectively. She adopted son David, 17, daughter Mercy, 17, and twin daughters Stella and Estere, 10.
