‘Party animal’ tennis star Nick Kyrgios hits Miami Art Week, but may stay in because, ‘I don’t know when to stop’

Pro tennis bad boy and self-described “party animal” Nick Kyrgios is trying to keep himself from the party scene during Miami Art Week.

The champ — who was in Miami, Fla., for a Joe & The Juice x Miami PickleBall Club event — told Page Six, “I am a bit of a party animal. I don’t know when to stop. I am either all out, or I am nothing at all. I know if I go [out], I am going to write off a week — so maybe I will stay in my room.”

Either way, it’ll come down to what his girlfriend, Costeen Hatzipourganis, has to say.

“Every party I go to kind of turns into a circus, no matter where I am,” he tells us. “We’ll see. My girlfriend is my boss.”

The event took place at the Scope Art Fair, where the couple checked out some art.

“Art that makes me feel a bit uncomfortable is art that I like,” the Australian athlete told us. “When I look at art and get a bit of an ‘ick’ or get uncomfortable, I think that makes it interesting. I have done a lot of cool things in my life, traveled to a lot of places, met a lot of people. I am overstimulated so to feel something… that thing there is pretty special.”

Kyrgios, who won his first Grand Slam title in the men’s doubles at the Australian Open last year, has become known on the court for his talent — as well as his temper.

But the 27-year-old, who just launched his own OnlyFans account, has also brought edge to the staid sport.

“Tennis is kind of seen as this privileged, rich sport,” Kyrgios, who grew up in Canberra, told us. “Where someone like myself, I had absolutely nothing going on. I made it from concrete courts. . . I wanted to bring that street style, and show you can shake up any world you want to shake up.”

He added that, “Sport and entertainment are one. All the people that bought tickets. They want to come watch a show, and not just a tennis match. You have to give them a bit of theatrics and stuff. I think that’s what I am good at.”

Kyrgios has been fined several times for his antics, including $14,000 at the 2022 US Open for smashing two rackets.

Kyrgios had knee surgery in January, but he tells us, “I am trying to get back as fast as I can. I am not sure when my return day is of yet, but I am looking forward to it.”
