Travis Kelce is “heartbroken” after at least 22 people were shot and two were killed during the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory parade on Valentine’s Day in Kansas City, Mo.

“I am heartbroken over the tragedy that took place today. My heart is with all who came out to celebrate with us and have been affected. KC, you mean the world to me,” the tight end wrote on X hours after the tragic shooting.

The Kansas City Chiefs organization also sent out an official statement, saying they were “truly saddened by the senseless act of violence” that occurred at the conclusion of the parade, which was in celebration of their victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 2024.

“Our hearts go out to the victims, their families, and all of Kansas City,” they added.
