Dallas Cowboys followers have been in all probability not proud of star edge rusher Micah Parsons after he was noticed sporting a Philadelphia 76ers jersey at an NBA playoff sport over the weekend.
But the two-time Pro Bowl linebacker seemingly had a legitimate purpose for representing town of his NFC East rival.

Parsons, who’s initially from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and went to Penn State earlier than being drafted by the Cowboys with the No.12 general choose in 2021, created a social media frenzy when he was seen courtside on the Sixers-Celtics Eastern Conference semifinals on Sunday sporting a Tyrese Maxey jersey.

“Micah Parsons desires to be an Eagle so badly,” one consumer wrote on Twitter.

“Micah Parsons desires to be in Philly so unhealthy,” one other account tweeted out.
But Parsons defended his alternative of jersey, declaring that Maxey is from Texas.
Maxey, 22, was a standout at Kentucky earlier than being drafted by the 76ers within the first spherical of the 2020 NBA Draft.

The Celtics host the 76ers in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinals on Tuesday night time. The collection is tied 2-2 and Philadelphia is coming off a Game 4 victory the place James Harden led the crew with 42 factors.
