Kyle Richards questions future of her marriage to Mauricio Umansky: ‘If there’s no effort, we’re not going to end up together’

Kyle Richards has questioned the future of her marriage to Mauricio Umansky, revealing that things need to change for the pair to stay together.

In a preview clip of next week’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” the show’s OG, 55, expressed her concerns over the pair’s relationship woes following their separation after 27 years of marriage.

“If there’s no effort, we’re not going to end up together,” the Bravolebrity says about Umansky, whose real estate firm The Agency continues to expand rapidly.

The business’s success has seemingly backfired on the couple’s relationship, as Richards, who initiated the split from Umansky, admits that his lack of free time has caused some friction.

In the clip, the “Halloween” actress can be heard expressing her annoyance over Umansky’s never-ending work schedule.

“He has to say yes to more things because the Agency is expanding so much,” she tells Dorit Kemsley in the clip, per Us Weekly. “So I’m like, if we’re having an issue why can’t you give that energy that you give to the company?”

Despite airing out her grievances on the show, Richards last week admitted she has no idea how to live her life without Umansky.

“I’ve been married almost my entire adult life,” the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, 55, said on SiriusXM’s “Jeff Lewis Live” Thursday. “I don’t even know what life is without being with Mauricio. It’s hard. It’s painful. It’s scary.”

Richards added the situation is “really tough” for her because she feels like her “entire identity is being a wife and a mom.”

“I have four daughters, and they are my best friends, but he’s also my friend, and I do love him very much, and that’s what’s also hard,” she explained to Lewis.

During the interview, Richards confirmed reports from November that both she and Umansky, 53, are in therapy as they continue to deal with their separation.

She also reiterated that the pair are still living together but staying in different bedrooms.

Page Six confirmed in July 2023 that Richards and Umansky, who tied the knot in January 1996, had decided to separate.

The couple admitted to a “challenging” year in a joint Instagram statement, writing at the time, “We both love and respect each other tremendously. … There has been no wrongdoing on anyone’s part.”

Shortly after news of their separation came to light, Richards and Umansky released a joint statement clarifying that any reports of them “divorcing are untrue.”

Despite that, Richards accidentally referred to her marriage woes as “divorce” at BravoCon in November.

The fan-favorite couple share three daughters together: Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15.

Umansky also helped raise Farrah Brittany, 34, whom Richards welcomed in her first marriage to Guraish Aldjufrie.
