Top rated Serie A players

Fans have been patiently awaiting a landmark new football video game which will go by the name of EA Sports FC 24, rather than FIFA 24 after a change in direction was announced by EA.

All of the world’s best players and many more will be featured in the game and a host of them are those who ply their trade in Serie A.

While there has been immense entertainment in Serie A recently with four different league winners in four seasons, it is not a league currently associated with the best players in world football.

Some exciting stars remain, however, so let’s see which ones have made it as the best Serie A players on EA Sports FC 24.

Mike Maignan

It was actually a goalkeeper that led the way in Serie A in the most recent game, with AC Milan’s Mike Maignan being crowned as the best player in the league.

After that, it was all about the strikers and forwards before you get into the host of talented midfielders who were in Serie A during the 2022/23 season.

Some pretty big names from Italy’s top flight have departed this summer, which means other stars will rise up the division’s rankings in EA Sports FC 2024.

It’s fair to say the list could look very different in EA Sports FC 24 when the official rankings for the new game get released. A couple of players from Napoli will shoot up the rankings given they won the Scudetto last season.

Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will surely be in the top ten, with the likes of Filip Kostic and Paul Pogba possibly dropping down given they were hardly instrumental for Juventus last season, particularly Pogba. Napoli players like Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Stanislav Lobotka and Piotr Zielinski will expect a big boost.

Theo Hernandez will probably get a better rating in the new game, while players such as Rafael Leao, Hakan Calhanoglu, Alessandro Bastoni and Federico Chiesa should all receive better ratings than the 84 they currently have.

In the capital, Ciro Immobile and Paulo Dybala could potentially drop down given they both had injury-hit campaigns in 2022/23 where they didn’t quite hit their expected heights.

Some big names who were originally in that top ten have left Serie A over the summer, including Romelu Lukaku, Milan Skriniar, Marcelo Brozovic and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. That has bumped a lot of players into the top ten but, as we say, expect that list to be shaken up considerably given the performances of some players last season.
