The celebrity guard deleted his Twitter and Instagram accounts shortly after the staff introduced he shall be away from the group for “at the very least” two video games.
Morant appeared to brandish a gun whereas dancing shirtless at a nightclub throughout an Instagram stay video early Saturday morning.

Morant provided a statement to ESPN:
“I take full duty for my actions final night time. I’m sorry to my household, teammates, coaches, followers, companions, the town of Memphis and all the Grizzlies group for letting you down. I’m going to take a while away to get assist and work on studying higher strategies of coping with stress and my general well-being.”
The new video comes simply days after it was revealed Morant was concerned in a bodily altercation with a youngster and allegedly confirmed the 17-year-old a gun. The new allegations come contemporary off a earlier controversy involving Morant. The Indiana Pacers declare that after an altercation between associates of Morant and the Pacers, a pink laser was pointed on the staff from an SUV carrying Morant, and the Pacers believed it was a gun.
The NBA investigated the incident and located that no “particular person threatened others with a weapon.”
The NBA is investigating Saturday morning’s incident.
