How to watch the FA Cup fourth round replays on TV and live stream

The FA Cup fourth round captured some of the competition’s fabled magic.

Sixth-tier Maidstone United overcame Championship high-flyers Ipswich Town after managing just two shots to their opponents’ 38, League Two Newport County struck twice against 12-time winners Manchester United and holders Manchester City produced a late winner to beat Tottenham Hotspur in the blockbuster tie of the round.

However, some sides left in this year’s competition are still uncertain of their place in the next round, with five fourth-round FA Cup replays still to come.

Here is how you can watch the 2023/24 FA Cup fourth-round replays on TV and live stream.

The FA Cup fifth round will commence at the end of February, with fourth-round replays taking place at the beginning of the month.

The five matches will take place on 6 and 7 February, with all games being evening kick-offs. Fixtures will be played at the home venues of the away sides from the first encounter.

Two of the fourth-round replays will be broadcast live on TV, with Plymouth Argyle vs Leeds United being shown on Tuesday 6 February. The match will be available for viewers on BBC One and BBC iPlayer after the sides drew 1-1 at Elland Road.

On Wednesday 7 February, the fixture chosen is, unsurprisingly, Aston Villa vs Chelsea, the two sides playing out a goalless draw at Stamford Bridge first time round. The match is available on ITV1 and ITVX.

Southampton and Watford will have plenty of motivation to make it to the fifth round of the FA Cup, with the two Championship sides vying for a trip to face Liverpool at Anfield. The Reds dispatched of second-tier Norwich City last time out and will feel confident of making it to the quarter-finals of the competition.

Bristol City, who beat West Ham United in the third round, know they will face a gargantuan clash with Manchester United should they make it past Nottingham Forest. They travel to the City Ground on this occasion following a goalless draw at Ashton Gate.

Non-league Maidstone United will be eager to learn their opponents in the fifth round, George Elokobi’s side facing the winner of the replay between Coventry City and Sheffield Wednesday. It will be the fourth time the two Championship sides have clashed since Boxing Day.

Either Aston Villa or Chelsea will face a second tier side in the fifth round, coming up against the winner of the replay between Plymouth and Leeds. Mauricio Pochettino’s side have already made it to the Carabao Cup final this season and will be aiming for similar success in the FA Cup.
