Jim Boeheim’s illustrious profession has come to an finish.
The legendary head coach is looking it a profession after 47 years as Syracuse’s head coach.
Boeheim received a National Championship in 2003, made 35 journeys to the NCAA Tournament, and appeared in 5 Final Fours.
“There is little doubt in my thoughts that with out Jim Boeheim, Syracuse Basketball wouldn’t be the powerhouse program it’s right now,” says Chancellor Kent Syverud. “Jim has invested and devoted nearly all of his life to constructing this program, cultivating generations of student-athletes and representing his alma mater with satisfaction and distinction. I lengthen my deep appreciation and gratitude to an alumnus who epitomizes what it means to be ‘Forever Orange.'”
Associate head coach Adrian Autry has been named the brand new head coach.
Boeheim went 1,015–440 as a head coach, solely teaching his alma mater by means of his total profession.
