Liverpool predicted lineup vs Wolves – Premier League

Liverpool return to Premier League action following the international break with a trip to Wolves in Saturday’s early kick off.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have come through difficult scenarios to take ten points from their first four games, dealing with red cards to Alexis Mac Allister and Virgil van Dijk to win three games in a row.

The Reds have suspensions and injury concerns to deal with ahead of their trip to the Black Country. Here’s the team they could deploy.

GK: Alisson – Went unused in Brazil’s 1-0 win over Peru, having also sat on the bench with rival Ederson starting the 5-1 thumping of Bolivia.

RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold – Withdrew from international duty with England due to a knock and will hope to shake it off in time.

CB: Joel Matip – Has started Liverpool‘s last two games and helped his side keep a first clean sheet of the season in the 3-0 stroll against Aston Villa.

CB: Joe Gomez – Ibrahima Konate is still pushing to recover from injury and Virgil van Dijk is suspended, leaving Gomez with another opportunity to impress.

LB: Andy Robertson – Helped Scotland maintain their Euro 2024 qualification charge during the break before being brought back to reality with a 3-1 friendly defeat to England.

CM: Dominik Szoboszlai – Grabbed his first Liverpool goal against Villa before featuring in qualifiers against Serbia and Czechia for Hungary.

CM: Wataru Endo – Could be handed his second start with the Reds if Jurgen Klopp opts for a greater physical presence at the base of midfield.

CM: Alexis Mac Allister – Has mainly occupied the central spot in midfield but bringing Endo in would allow the Argentinian World Cup winner to push forward in the final third.

RW: Mohamed Salah – Had enjoyed goal contributions in all four league games so far, contributing two goals and assists apiece.

ST: Diogo Jota – Darwin Nunez’s electric double at Newcastle has put him back in the starting XI picture but his chaotic energy may be better introduced from the bench with Jota starting, especially after travelling to South America with Uruguay.

LW: Luis Diaz – Helped Colombia pick up four points from their first two World Cup qualifiers.
