LSU ladies’s basketball staff confirms White House go to regardless of invite controversy

The LSU ladies’s basketball staff has accepted an invite to go to the White House this month to rejoice its successful the nationwide championship over Iowa – following the controversy of first woman Jill Biden suggesting that each groups must be prolonged an invitation.

The college issued a press launch Monday during which it confirmed plans to go to the White House on May 26.

“The 2023 National Championship LSU’s Women’s Basketball staff has accepted an invite to rejoice its historic season on the White House,” the discharge reads.

“The Tigers, who defeated Iowa on April 3 to earn the University’s first ever basketball nationwide championship, will go to the nation’s capital on Friday, May 26.”

Confirmation of the Tigers go to adopted LSU star ahead Angel Reese’s frustrations over Biden’s suggestion that the Hawkeyes even be invited.

Vanessa Valdivia, the primary woman’s press secretary, later clarified her remarks, saying the primary woman “supposed to applaud the historic sport and all ladies athletes.”

Reese initially referred to as the suggestion “A JOKE” on Twitter, and later stated the staff would go to the Obamas as a substitute.

Reese ultimately stated she would go to be able to “do what’s greatest for the staff.”
