CF Montreal announce sold-out season tickets for first time in over a decade

CF Montreal have announced a record breaking number of season ticket sales ahead of the 2024 Major League Soccer season.

It’s a huge milestone for the Canadian side, as its the first time they’ve sold out their season tickets since 2021, their first campaign in the league when they were formerly know as Montreal Impact.

Montreal’s inaugural MLS season saw them finish in seventh place in their respective conference with 42 points from 34 games played when Jesse Marsch was at the helm.

Fans of the Eastern Conference team must like what they’re seeing in the offseason with the additions of defenders Raheem Edwards and Ruan as well as first-year head coach Laurent Courtois, who joined from Columbus Crew 2 in MLS Next Pro – Montreal’s third head coach in as many seasons.

“We are incredibly pleased to make this announcement today and very proud of this historic achievement,” Montreal president and chief executive officer Gabriel Gervais said in a release.

“I would like to thank our fans who have demonstrated their commitment and passion for over 30 years. We look forward to seeing allour members at Stade Saputo for every game in 2024. We will continue to enhance the game-day experience at home and impatiently await the start of the season.”

Montreal are looking to return to the postseason after falling short last term, as they finished in 10th place in the East with 43, just two points shy of ninth-placed Charlotte FC with 41 points.

“It is truly exciting to be able to announce this achievement for the very first time and so early in the year. We can feel the passion for soccer in Montrealand it is refreshing,” Montreal senior director of ticket sales & service & operations Roberto Linhares said.

“We have capped the number of season tickets available to ensure we can continue to offer more options to those looking to attend CF Montreal games in 2024.”

Montreal begin their 2024 campaign with one of the toughest oppnents you could face, Orlando City, on February 24 at Inter&Co Stadium, which was formerly known as Exploria Stadium.

Montreal’s first home game of the new season isn’t slated until April 13 vs 2023 Supporters’ Shield winners FC Cincinnati, meaning the five-time Canadian Cup winners will play their first six games of the season on the road.
