Rams’ Cam Akers out in opposition to Panthers for private causes; operating again and LA ‘working by issues’

Akers has performed in all 5 of the Rams video games this season and has 151 dashing yards. He has scored one landing on 51 carries. The lone landing he scored in Week 3 was his first since 2020.

McVay did verify that Akers is just not coping with any bodily limitations. He reiterated that the Rams are “coping with issues internally.”

“[This is] form of uncharted territory, and I feel the most important factor is, out of respect for the scenario, need to maintain it inside,” McVay stated.

The Panthers are bringing the NFL’s Twenty seventh-ranked rush protection to SoFi Stadium.

Running again Ronnie Rivers is on the follow squad, however McVay didn’t say if he can be elevated to the energetic roster on Sunday.
