Real Madrid predicted lineup vs Getafe

Real Madrid have made a storming start to what is their final La Liga season with Carlo Ancelotti in charge of the club.

Three wins from three mean they sit top of the La Liga table with a two-point lead over Girona, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona. All three of Los Blancos’ wins have also come away from home, meaning this clash is their first at the Bernabeu this season.

There is a fresh injury for Madrid to contend with when they host Getafe, though. Vinicius Junior is expected to be out for around six weeks, opening the door for another attacker on Saturday afternoon.

Here is the team Ancelotti could choose to ensure victory for Madrid against Getafe in La Liga.

Jude Bellingham, Nacho Fernandez, David Alaba

GK: Kepa Arrizabalaga – Those who do not rate Kepa wondered if he would be the immediate number one at Real Madrid in Thibaut Courtois’ absence, but he clearly is.

RB: Dani Carvajal – Mr. Reliable, Carvajal is enjoying another season as the starting right-back at Real Madrid and deservedly so.

CB: Antonio Rudiger – Given Real Madrid have only conceded one goal so far this season, Rudiger must be performing pretty well in Eder Militao’s absence.

CB: David Alaba – Similarly, it has not phased Alaba to have Rudiger alongside him rather than Militao, but it takes a lot to unsettle a player like Alaba.

LB: Fran Garcia – It’s very impressive for 24-year-old Garcia to have bagged this position as his own this season and he’s doing a great job.

CM: Federico Valverde – Every good team needs an industrious player like Valverde and he now has a fairly settled place in Ancelotti’s midfield.

CM: Aurelien Tchouameni – The transition away from Toni Kroos was something rival fans were looking forward to, but it is becoming increasingly clear Madrid have nailed it with Tchouameni.

CM: Eduardo Camavinga – Much like Tchouameni, Camavinga is phasing Luka Modric out and while each have their own merits, it must be a huge relief for Madrid fans to have such a young and high-quality midfield.

AM: Jude Bellingham – This role suits Bellingham so well, helping the England star score four goals in the first three games this season. He is their most important player right now which is an incredible achievement.

ST: Rodrygo – The Brazilian’s role may change slightly now he doesn’t have Vinicius Junior alongside him, with added pressure to contribute in the final third.

ST: Joselu – It was a surprising summer signing but Joselu should now get his chance with Vinicius out. It will be intriguing to see how his inclusion affects Rodrygo and Bellingham.
