Tiger Woods’ attorneys are denying claims from his ex-girlfriend that he compelled her to signal, or comply with, any tenancy agreements.

Erica Herman filed a lawsuit in Florida Monday over a nondisclosure settlement (NDA) she alleges she was compelled to signal, citing the Speak Out Act, based on courtroom paperwork obtained by Fox News Digital.

Woods, a 15-time main champion, requested to intervene as a defendant within the case, and his attorneys wrote that Herman sued the belief to keep away from an settlement the 2 made to arbitrate all disputes.

“During their relationship, Mr. Woods invited Ms. Herman to stay with him as his visitor within the Residence,” the movement stated. “Mr. Woods by no means negotiated an oral tenancy settlement with Ms. Herman. Nor was there ever a written tenancy settlement between Mr. Woods or the Trust, on the one hand, and Ms. Herman, then again. Mr. Woods by no means transferred to Ms. Herman any possession curiosity in or rights of possession to the Residence.”

Herman is suing the Jupiter Island Irrevocable Trust, the belief that owns Woods’ residence, for at the least $30 million after he requested her to maneuver out of the property.

Herman says the settlement allowed her to stay within the residence expense-free in change for “worthwhile providers” that have been “extraordinary in nature.” However, Herman alleges she was tricked to depart the house and was locked out when she returned.

But Herman claims the settlement needs to be unenforceable below the Speak Out Act, which “prohibits the judicial enforceability of a nondisclosure clause or nondisparagement clause agreed to earlier than a dispute arises involving sexual assault or sexual harassment in violation of federal, tribal, or state legislation.”
