Hospitals continued to function on scaled-down schedules, which means that solely emergency care was being supplied, a commerce union assertion stated.

Unions representing roughly 200,000 healthcare staff are at present in talks with hospitals to enhance salaries, scale back workloads and tackle declining buying energy because of excessive inflation.
