Male suspect in Berlin college knife assault that critically injured 2 women could have drug-induced psychological sickness

German prosecutors mentioned Thursday {that a} man who critically wounded two younger women in an assault at a college in Berlin could have been affected by a drug-induced psychological sickness.

Prosecutors mentioned they had been asking a courtroom to have the 38-year-old suspect held in a psychiatric hospital pending additional investigation. The man, who was arrested by officers on the scene, is being investigated for tried murder and severe bodily hurt.
