Madonna spends quality time with her children for ‘end-of-summer festivities’ amid recovery

When it comes to her home life, Madonna is far from a “Material Girl.”

The “Queen of Pop” shared a sneak peek into her summer as she spent quality time with her children while she continues to recover from her recent health scare.

The “Like a Prayer” hitmaker, 65, took to her Instagram Story Tuesday to share a series of heartwarming photos from the warm summer months.

Fun snaps of the singer showed her spending time with her adoptive twins Estere and Stella, both 11, as well as her daughter Mercy, 17.

In one image, Madonna wore a dark blue button-up shirt and a matching pair of wide-legged pants as she chilled poolside.

The “Holiday” hitmaker later wore a wide-brimmed hat and accessorized with a large pair of blacked-out shades, wearing her blonde locks in a pair of braids.

Another snap showed the Grammy winner riding horseback during a getaway to an estate.

In other images, the singer was captured serenading partygoers before a group photo showed her pals sitting on her lap.

Her sweet summer recap comes on the heels of the performer’s recovery from a health scare that landed her in the intensive care unit in June.

Page Six exclusively reported that she had been rushed to a New York City hospital and intubated for at least one night after being found unresponsive at home.

The pop star’s longtime manager, Guy Oseary, shared on social media that she had developed a “serious bacterial infection” that required immediate treatment, though he added that her health was “improving.”

After news of her health scare circulated social media, Madonna finally broke her silence to thank her six children — which also include Rocco, 23, Mercy, Stella and Estere — for supporting her throughout her recovery.

The singer’s health woes came in the midst of grueling rehearsals for her highly anticipated “Celebration” tour, which commemorates the 40th anniversary of her decades-long musical career.

Earlier this month, she finally announced the tour’s rescheduled dates after having to postpone it following her illness.

The worldwide jaunt will officially launch on Oct. 14 in London before the North American leg kickstarts on Dec. 13.
