UN human rights commissioner has ‘critical issues’ about Elon Musk suspending journalists on Twitter

Volker Türk, the United Nations High Commissioner on Human Rights, reacted Saturday to the suspension and reinstatement of a number of journalists on the Twitter social media platform.

Musk introduced Saturday that he had lifted the suspensions of journalists who had allegedly violated the platform’s “doxxing” coverage following the outcomes of a ballot he performed amongst Twitter customers.

Musk performed a 24-hour ballot asking whether or not the accounts needs to be restored “now” or “in 7 days.” Twitter customers overwhelming voted “now” in a 59-41 level break up. Nearly 3.7 million Twitter customers answered the ballot.
