A girl performing within the picturesque “Voladores” ritual has died after falling from the 30-yard excessive pole, authorities within the central Mexico state of Puebla confirmed Sunday.
The municipal authorities within the metropolis of Huauchinango mentioned it was cancelling the remaining festivities in an indication of mourning.
The performers had been apparently from a troupe of primarily feminine “voladores.” They had been performing on the metropolis’s Festival of Flowers when the accident occurred Saturday evening.

The reason behind the accident is underneath investigation.
The voladores, or flyers in English, are usually 4 performers who climb up the pole and tie themselves to ropes twisted across the pole; they then leap outwards and descend via the air, transferring in circles because the rope unwinds.
While the best-known voladores are from Papantla, within the neighboring state of Veracruz, the act, which originated as a religious observance, can be carried out in Puebla.
