Adult film star Sophie Anderson had died aged 36, according to her friend and co-star Rebecca More. Taking to Instagram on Monday night, Rebecca shared a video of the pair joking around while out running, alongside a heartfelt statement.
She wrote: “I’m devastated hearing the awful news of Sophie’s passing. We shared some amazing times together and that’s how I’m going to remember her.
“The bubbly, funny, kind hearted soul who was outrageous on the outside but also so gentle behind closed doors. We were very close, and we shared a crazy time together that was totally unique to us. That’s how I will remember her.
“This is so tragic but I know you are now at peace. I will always love you and hold a special place in my heart.” Tributes have flooded in for the late adult star in the comments section. One wrote: “Such sad news,” while a second commented: “Absolutely devastating. She was such a wonderful soul.”
A third added: “Sending love to everyone that loved Soph, that girl was so special. I’ve never laughed and cried harder with someone. So so special.” A fourth typed: “Oh I’m so sorry to hear about this!!! Sending love your way.”
Sophie’s death comes just two weeks after her boyfriend Oliver died aged 34. His former club Croydon FC announced the news on their page and later held a minute’s silence before their match on November 18.
They wrote: “Oliver played for the club over a couple of spells and was a much loved individual who always gave his utmost effort for the team. Oliver will be hugely missed by everyone at the club and our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.”
Referring to the club’s nickname, they added: “Rest in Peace, Ollie. Once a Tram, always a Tram.” Away from his football career, he also worked in the adult industry where he was known as Damian Oliver.
A cause of death for Sophie and Oliver is yet to be unveiled.
