Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez’s marriage is officially over, as they’ve both reportedly filed for divorce. But it appears that Ariana is moving on quickly, as a new report claims the pop star has moved in with Ethan Slater.
On Monday, Ariana, 30, initiated divorce proceedings against Gomez, 28. Shortly thereafter, the real estate agent promptly filed his own response. The specified date of separation was February 20, 2023.
“[They’re taking their time together to slowly work through the details of the agreement privately,” an insider revealed to PEOPLE. “They’ve been really caring and respectful of one another through every step of this process.”
Dalton Isn’t Angry At Ariana, Even Though She May Have Cheated
The same source claimed that their break-up is amicable, despite the drama surrounding Ariana and Ethan Slater. “Ari has nothing but kind words to say about Dalton. During their marriage, he was her No. 1 fan,” they continued.
Ariana and Dalton began dating in 2020, only to get engaged by the end of the year. They married in 2021, though reports claim that conflicting schedules pushed them apart.
It was first reported in July that the couple had split earlier in the year, and simultaneously, it was revealed Ariana as dating her Wicked co-star, Ethan, even though he’s married with a new baby. However, it was reported that Ariana called things off between them weeks later amid backlash over their romance timeline.
Ethan’s estranged wife, Lilly Jay, who he’s been with since high school, released a brief statement calling out Ariana and not specifically denying rumors that they had an affair.
“[Ariana’s] the story, really. Not a girl’s girl,” she told Page Six in July. “My family is just collateral damage.”
“[Lilly is] telling Ethan and others that she only cares about protecting their child,” a source told the outlet. “She’s rightfully upset because her marriage fell apart, but Ariana and Ethan didn’t do anything wrong.”

Ethan and Lilly, who wed in 2018, are now reportedly in the midst of getting a divorce. Moreover, it appears Ethan has moved in with Ariana, despite them both freshly getting out of marriages. Various reports seem to confirm the two are living together. Metro reports that Ethan and Ariana made the decision to advance their relationship by cohabiting, while, according to the Daily Mail, they are currently residing in a New York City apartment.
Ariana seemed to hint that she’s on good terms with Ethan earlier this month when she showed a subtle sign of support for his return to Instagram. For now, the rumored couple hasn’t directly addressed the moving in speculation.
