Fortunately for Grande, the pink gown she wore on the red carpet has done quite a bit of leg work at burying the gossip surrounding her relationship with Ethan Slater. Grande, if you didn’t know, turned up to the 2024 Oscars wearing a dramatic off-the-shoulder pink gown, which she had custom made by Giambattista Valli Haute Couture, per Us Weekly. Grande completed the feminine look with a gorgeous prom-worthy up-do. And while Grande’s look has garnered comparisons to her “Wicked” character, Glinda the Good Witch, many fans are appreciating her decision to take a bold fashion risk.
Grande’s red carpet interview with Vanessa Hudgens has also garnered positive attention for the star. During the clip (shared by Ariana Grande Today on X), Grande spoke about how she felt bringing “Wicked” to the big screen. “There’s always that incredible pressure because it’s so beloved, and I’m a diehard purist fan,” said Grande. “So there’s so much to balance. Satiating these fans while also bringing truth to these characters that we’ve loved for 20 years while also finding new things within them and making them our own in certain ways.”
