BBC Breakfast fans have rushed to defend presenter Nina Warhurst after a troll attacked her for her appearance after she returned from maternity leave.
The 43-year-old reposted a tweet from somebody who said: “Nina I wish you would do something with your hair fluff it up it looks like it’s been plastered down No offence intended.”
She sarcastically responded: “Ahhhhh it’s good to be back!,” with a sunglasses wearing emoji. Nina’s fans weren’t having any of it and took to the comments section to defend the BBC star against the troll in question.
One person wrote: “Big sigh ……… Why on earth does anyone feel they should write s**t like this – Nina it’s fab to see you back.” Another loyal follower expressed: “Take no notice of them. Your hair looks beautiful, suits you that bit longer.” (sic)
A third person said: “Nina as that great philosopher Taylor Swift said ‘let the haters hate hate’.. good to have you back/welcome back.” While a fourth added: “Take no bloody notice nina you look great to me, clearly the person who tweeted is of supermodel quality.” (sic)
The BBC star returned from maternity leave last week after giving birth to her third child in July.
Nina was last seen on BBC Breakfast in July just days before she gave birth to her precious little girl.
She took to Instagram to pen a brave yet honest post for her 27,000 followers to see.
Alongside a series of pictures of herself juggling being a mum and being a working woman, Nina wrote: “Back to work.
“Can not fib – the anxiety was real. Tried all my best tricks but only got about 30 mins sleep last night.
“Work have been brilliant and managed a phased return… And I was back home in the afternoon for a long kip with my girl.
“The juggle is about to get very real. But here we are – we did day #1 and I am filled with joy and gratitude. And managed to not lactate when talking about feeding babies on telly,” she concluded.
The television personality welcomed a baby girl called Nance with her husband Ted in July last year. The couple are also parents to two boys called Digby and Michael, who were born in 2016.
