Although she skipped the red carpet, Beyoncé made sure to slip in a head-turning style moment at the Grammys 2024 on Sunday, with the singer rocking a checkered shorts suit as she attended with husband Jay-Z and their 12-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.
The 42-year-old “Cuff It” singer went for a Western-inspired Louis Vuitton outfit in her white cowboy hat and white blouse as she joined her family at the awards show, which was held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
The look was a customized version of a pantsuit straight off of the runway from last month’s Pharell-designed runway, with the pop star rocking shorts rather than full-length pants from the menswear show.
Beyoncé looked visibly emotional as she watched her husband and daughter take the stage when Jay-Z accepted the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award, with the camera giving a closer look at her shimmering checkered blazer and shorts with a matching checked tie.
She wore her platinum hair down in a straight style, adding a bright red manicure and multiple rings.
As for Jay-Z, 54, he wore an all-black look, rocking a sleek black suit with an unbuttoned black shirt, while Blue Ivy donned an elegant white strapless ballgown.
Their Grammys appearance comes after the duo didn’t show up to Clive Davis’ annual pre-Grammys party for unknown reasons Saturday night, with the couple canceling at the last minute.

However, though Roc Nation cancelled their annual pre-Grammy brunch for unknown reasons, the “Empire State of Mind” singer hosted his own bash on Friday, where Kim Kardashian continued to spark dating rumors with fellow guest Odell Beckham Jr.
While Beyoncé has been keeping a somewhat low profile after her “Renaissance” tour last year, she’s reunited with her Destiny’s Child bandmates to serenade family and friends in 2024, including Kelly Rowland’s husband, Tim Weatherspoon, and her mother, Tina Knowles.
The “Single Ladies” singer also rocked a Barbiecore ‘fit when she attended yet another birthday bash, rocking a pink Missoni minidress as she attended Lebron James’ birthday celebrations with her husband last month.
