He then went on to study theatre at The Theatre Workshop Stage School in Brighton. When he was just six years old, he began performing on stage in the Hammond Pantomimes at the Pavilion Theatre in Worthing and even was able to win a theatre scholarship while attending.

Career and Professional Life

Brenock O’Connor’s big break happened in the year 2014. It was the time when he was able to join the cast of “Game of Thrones” where he played the character Olly. He went on to appear in a total of seventeen episodes throughout the series. His final appearance was in the sixth season episode called “Oathbreaker” where his character met a tragic end by being hanged by a resurrected Jon Snow. In the show, “Games of Thrones”, he had to betray Jon Snow in the fifth-season episode “Mother’s Mercy”. Due to this, he went on to receive both negative and positive messages from fans of the show. However, Connor even being young, embraced the impact his character had on the viewers.

Likewise, after the show he played a lot of roles. He was able to star as Peter Cratchit in the BBC One series, “Dickensian” in the year 2015. He also played in a British children’s adventure film “Young Hunters: The Beast of Bevendean” in that same year. Connor also was able to appear in a music video with Noah and the Whale, doing television commercials for Haribo. On top of that, he even took on a lead character role in an episode of “Holby City”.

He got the opportunity to tour along with Cameron Mackintosh’s Oliver. During that tour, he was able to play the role of ‘The Artful Dodger’. It was a great experience for him as he performed alongside talented actors such as Iain Fletcher, Neil Morrissey, and Samantha Barks.

Moreover, in the year 2019, Connor was able to land the role of Conor Lawlor in the musical adaptation of “Sing Street” which is based on the awesome 2016 movie by John Carney. The musical was initially presented at New York Theatre Workshop in December 2019. And, it was all set to premiere on Broadway at the Lyceum Theatre in Spring 2020, and they even released the Original Cast Recording. Unfortunately, because of the pesky COVID-19 pandemic, the premiere got postponed until the end of 2021.

Furthermore, Connor is also a singer as well as a guitarist. He has shared some of his cover songs on YouTube as well. Also, he was able to appear on a 2020 episode of the talk show “Stars in the House”.
