Police led a female intruder away on the set of Britain’s Got Talent at the London Palladium today after she “tried to get backstage”.
The unidentified woman allegedly tried to “sneak” past security and trespass into the restricted area.
It comes as Simon Cowell and fellow judges Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli reunited ahead of the ITV talent show’s return.
A Met Police spokesman told Express.co.uk: “Police were called at 1.23pm today to reports of a woman suffering a mental health crisis at Argyll Street, W1.
“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended. The woman was assisted by officers who made arrangements for her to be met by a family member. There were no offences.”
In pictures obtained by Mail Online, officers were seen speaking to door staff at the theatre following the incident as a small crowd gathered outside the stage door, with security staff standing by it.
Audience members heard theatre staff talking about the intruder saying they “tried to sneak in backstage”.
Meanwhile, head judge Simon, 64, was pictured arriving at London Palladium as he cut a casual look.
The media mogul looked to be in high spirits as he flashed a smile upon his arrival and carrying two laptop cases.
The dad-of-one sported a black compression top along with black tracksuit bottoms. Despite the heavy winds recently, Simon braved the chill and opted to ditch his socks, going barefoot in his trainers.
He arrived alone at the auditions but was later joined by his fellow co-stars as well as BGT presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.
Amanda, 52, looked effortlessly stylish in white trousers, and a blue ruffled blouse but shielded her eyes with a pair of oversized sunglasses.
Choreographer Bruno, 68, also made a low-key appearance as he kept it casual in a grey tracksuit sat, which he styled with a faux leather jacket and a scarf, while Alesha, 45, was not pictured arriving at the venue.
