Britney Said She Could Only See Her Boys During School Lunches
Sharing with her 42 million Instagram followers, Britney shared a throwback photo of herself hugging one of her sons. The paparazzi photo appears to be taken when the musician was visiting her son at school. Like the other kids, he was dressed in a red t-shirt and appeared to be eating lunch with classmates. The picture showed Britney hiding her face behind huge sunglasses, but she had a solemn look on her face as she hugged her son back.
In the caption, Britney gave context as to why she looked unhappy in the image, explaining one of the only opportunities she had to see her boys while they were in elementary school is if she joined them during lunch break.

Even with Britney Spears difficulties in her personal life, she has stayed a strong and important figure in the industry, and she’s not done yet.
Even then, the singer would clearly still have photographers documenting her every move, making it hard to enjoy time with her son (or respect the privacy of him and his classmates).

Britney Hasn’t Seen Her Sons In Over A Year
Britney didn’t address her sons’ recent move to Hawaii with their father, but many comments speculated that her post may have been a subtle reference to it. Britney reportedly hadn’t seen her boys in over a year before they moved to the tropical state with K-Fed.
They apparently refused to see their famous mom over embarrassment concerning her online posts, some of which have included provocative dancing and outfits.
“I think Mom has struggled giving us both attention and showing us equal love; I don’t think she showed enough to Preston, and I feel really bad for that,” Jayden said in his first public interview to Daily Mail in 2022, where he gave context about why his and Preston’s relationship is so strained with Britney.
Kevin also participated in the interview, adding, “I try to explain to them, ‘Look, maybe that’s just another way she tries to express herself.’ But that doesn’t take away from the fact of what it does to them. It’s tough. I can’t imagine how it feels to be a teenager having to go to high school.”
Kevin originally requested via his lawyer to move with the boys to Hawaii after his wife was offered a job. Speaking to TMZ in May, a source said K-Fed didn’t think Britney would object since she doesn’t regularly communicate with the boys.
“Britney hasn’t seen the kids in more than a year and the kids want to leave town, it’s likely the judge will allow the move,” they said.
In the end, she didn’t deny Kevin’s request and he’s now in Hawaii with Jayden and Preston. There haven’t been any recent updates on whether the boys are communicating more with Britney, but given her most recent post, it’s safe to assume things are still tense.
