Katherine Ryan has revealed she hasn’t been asked to do another series of Celebrity Gogglebox. The 40-year-old joined the hit Channel 4 show in 2023 with her partner Bobby Kootstra.
They were on the show alongside a whole host of other famous faces including Denise Van Outen and Duncan James, Davina McCall and Michael Douglas and Fearne Cotton and Gok Wan.
Sharing the news, she told The Sun: “I loved working with Bobby. I like people getting to know him. I’m not sure that we were the best fit for Celebrity Gogglebox only because we were new and there are so many other families and couples on there, that I don’t think we were on it very much.
“I loved being on it and I would love to be of more use on it. We haven’t been asked back so far, but that’s okay. Like I’m not right for everything. I loved the opportunity because it’s a show that we watch.
“But I’m wondering like, how I can be funnier. You know, I’m not going to lie and pretend I didn’t notice that I’m on it for like five seconds.”
The television personality went on to say that she must not be as funny as Martin and Roman Kemp, or Rylan Clark and his mum.
“That’s fine, I still loved the show, it was an honour to participate,” she expressed.

The Netflix star married her childhood sweetheart Bobby back in 2019 and the couple have two children together.
The pair ended up reconnecting as adults after first dating when they were teenagers. In December 2022, they welcomed baby girl Fenna Grace and three years prior, they had son Fred.
Katherine is also mum to daughter Violet, 14, from a previous relationship.
The Canadian-native has made her mark in television, with appearances on several shows including Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Have I Got News For You and Would I Lie To You?
She’s also starred in two of her own stand-up specials on Netflix, Katherine Ryan: In Trouble and Katherine Ryan: Glitter Room.
