Early Life

On the 10th of July 1984, Christopher Gradoville was born in Omaha, City in Nebraska, in the United States of America. In addition. there is not much known about his ethnicity, zodiac sign, and religious belief.

Later, he was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 24th round of the 2007 MLB Draft.

For the Bluejays, he had a career batting average of 327. He progressed through the Rangers’ minor league system, beginning in rookie ball in 2007 and eventually marking it to the Trple-A Oklahoma City RedHawks in 2010. His playing career came to an end after that.

Gradoville spent time in Omaha and Spokane working in sports performance, specializing in treating sports injuries, after his career in professional baseball. Tactical Training Solution, LLC, a project that instructs first responders in physical fitness, is run by Chris.

He and his wife Nikki, whom he met while playing for the 2007 Rangers affiliate Spokane Indians baseball team, live in the Omaha area. In 2020, he returned to Creighton University and started serving as a director of baseball operations.

Killed in Shooting

On Thursday, September 30, 2021, Gradoville was found shot to death at a house west of 61st and Pratt. The police report states that when they arrived at the scene, Gradoville was lying in a yard of a house with multiple gunshot wounds. At the scene, he was pronounced dead by Omaha Fire Department medics.

OPD reported that they had a man in custody and were not searching for any additional suspects at that time in an update at around 9:30 a.m. However, they added that they continued to communicate with witnesses.

Ladell Thornton, 43, was later identified by police as the suspect in custody. He is accused of first-degree murder, using a weapon to commit a crime, and having a gun in their possession illegally. Thornton was registered with the Douglas County Jail.
