Cindy Crawford admitted that she was nervous to be interviewed by Howard Stern during her first of two appearances on his radio show. The first was in the 1990s when the absurdly rich radio legend was still on terrestrial radio and known for being a shock jock. While the 2015 interview on The Howard Stern Show on SiriusXM satellite radio was far more in-depth and adult, her ’90s appearance was no holds barred. This included delving into her intimate life with her now ex-husband Richard Gere.

While the supermodel waited in the green room, Howard Stern, his long-time co-host Robin Quivers, producer Gary Dell’Abate, and head writer Fred Norris prepared the audience for what they were about to hear. “We didn’t spend enough time together. And we’re equally responsible for that. We thought it would be okay if we just flew in from Paris to L.A. to get together for a night to see each other. It wasn’t.”

Stern then pushed Crawford to admit that Gere dumped her. But this was something that she wouldn’t confirm nor deny.

“Because, if you still love him, that means he dumped you,” Stern said.

“Okay, well you can believe whatever you want,” Crawford responded.

“What I’d hope to project is that we both decide that we both wanted — it wasn’t — we weren’t on the same path.”

Howard Stern then inquired about Cindy Crawford and Richard Gere’s net worths and if their divorce was messy. Crawford claimed that it wasn’t because they hadn’t joined their lives all that much.

“I took mine and he took his. It was so painless. We didn’t have one of those divorces.”
