Discover the Lavish Austrian Wellness Spa Frequented by Nicole Kidman, Sarah Ferguson, and Other Celebrities for Detoxification

Celebrities are flying all the way to Austria to focus on their health and wellness.

Stars such as Nicole Kidman, Rebel Wilson, Sarah Ferguson, Luann de Lesseps and more have been turning to the VivaMayr clinic in Europe for “detoxification,” metabolism boosts and more as they try to maintain their health and fight against aging.

Whether patients stay in a standard room option or a more luxurious villa, all are given “individually customized and medically prescribed dietary meals according to Modern Mayr medicine,” the website states.

A daily program of activities, along with access to private lake access, is available for all guests to enjoy throughout the duration of their stay.

Lodgers can also visit the “wellness area,” which includes the garden sauna, steam baths, a fitness room and more.

A standard room with single occupancy starts at $350 per night, while a comfort room with a lake view begins at $470. Booking with double occupancy slightly reduces the rate, encouraging guests to come as a group.

More exclusive options such as the apartments and villas will range anywhere from $2,290 to $4,087 per night.

While at VivaMayr, guests can choose from numerous programs the clinic offers. However, all require a seven-night minimum stay.

The wellness center has a “classic” program that “forms the basis of every stay,” the website explains, that will have people leaving “vitalized, energized, light and free.”

Other programs are weight care, which helps people get to and maintain their “optimal weight,” as well as immune boost, anti-inflammatory skin, post-COVID, diabetes and more.

For each program, all supplements, medication and special laboratory tests are charged separately. A full lab workup for men and women costs $620.

Although guests can customize their schedules, the VivaMayr website offers a look at what a typical day at the clinic might look like: Wakeup between 6:30 and 7:30 a.m. local time, a “gentle” exercise to activate the body and breakfast at 8:30 a.m.

People move on to their “personal therapies” until noon, when they’ll lunch, before resuming their therapies in the afternoon before dinner.

The Duchess of York, 64, checked into VivaMayr in January after disclosing that she had been diagnosed with melanoma following her battle with breast cancer.

She credited the luxury medical clinic for “taking gentle care” of her throughout her recuperation.

Wilson, meanwhile, enjoyed a stay at VivaMayr in December 2020 to maintain her weight loss and kick off the New Year “in an amazing place, with a healthy body and mind,” she wrote on Instagram.

Actress Elizabeth Hurley admitted her stay at the clinic in 2018 was “brutal” but said it was worthwhile. She enjoyed it so much, it seems, that she returned last month.

“I went to give my digestion a reboot, attempt to learn how to better deal with stress and be kinder to my body’s various injuries,” she explained via Instagram. “I didn’t go to lose weight but lost a few pounds anyway- hurrah!”
